IVF - In Vitro Fertilization

Offering one of the most affordable fertility treatment options.

In Vitro Fertilization is probably the best known and most widely used ART procedure. For well over a decade, IVF has allowed infertile couples the chance to conceive and bear children. The best candidates for IVF are women with damaged fallopian tubes.

IVF is a four-stage procedure. This process begins with ovarian stimulation to encourage the ovaries to produce a large number of mature eggs, which can then be removed from the follicles, and monitoring and retrieval of eggs. Several eggs are collected from the woman’s ovary and put in a special culture medium for about 2 to 3 hours. Semen from the male partner or donor is then processed using various techniques in order to get an active motile sperm. After this, the prepared sperm is transferred into the medium containing the eggs.
